Vienna Insurance Group works continuously on improving workflows and the use of resources within companies and across the Group. As a result, VIG has implemented many measures with a regional focus in previous years. In Romania, Albania and the Ukraine, it was in particular, analysed in 2011 whether and what opportunities existed for the creation and use of shared resources. Implementation focuses on the creation of shared back offices, an expansion of shared services and, in Romania in particular, a sustained reduction in costs using measures related to distribution and administration.
