VIG's total annual trading volume on the Vienna Stock Exchange was approximately EUR 780 million in 2012, corresponding to an average daily trading volume of EUR 3.2 million. Around 19 million VIG shares were traded in the financial year 2012, which was lower than the previous year.
The average daily trading volume of VIG shares on the Prague Stock Exchange declined slightly to around CZK 9 million.
The weighting of VIG shares in the ATX leading index of the Vienna Stock Exchange remained unchanged at approximately 7%. As in 2011, this makes VIG one of the top ten companies included in the index.
The PX leading index of the Prague Stock Exchange saw a noteworthy change in the weighting of VIG shares, which rose from approximately 13% to more than 18%, moving VIG into third place among the 14 companies listed in the PX.
